- Be careful about buying a Practical Peripherals modem. I got a modem from
- them (model PM144MT II) and although it is Group III Class 2.0 (or whatever
- geoFAX needs), it does not have a large enough buffer! I can't even get the
- buffer size with an AT command and the manual doesn't mention a buffer at all.
- Maurice said that he thought the modem only had a tiny little buffer.
- Also, the Swiftlink instruction sheet states that another model by PPI may
- require you to open up the SL and cut a jumper or something.
