  21. Be careful about buying a Practical Peripherals modem.  I got a modem from
  22. them (model PM144MT II) and although it is Group III Class 2.0 (or whatever
  23. geoFAX needs), it does not have a large enough buffer!  I can't even get the
  24. buffer size with an AT command and the manual doesn't mention a buffer at all.
  25. Maurice said that he thought the modem only had a tiny little buffer.
  26. Also, the Swiftlink instruction sheet states that another model by PPI may
  27. require you to open up the SL and cut a jumper or something.
